Mandarin (Kush) is a slightly Indica dominant strain (60% Indica 40% sativa).

The first thing that is very noticeable about this strain is the smell, it has one of the most distinctive citrus smells, and you can really smell the orangey mandarin smell. This continues when you smoke it, the taste is very definitely citrus (much more so than some of the lemon varieties). It is one of the smoothest strains and the citrusy, orangey, mandarin taste makes it a very pleasant smoke.

The effects are as to be expected from a predominantly Indica hybrid, however, the 40% sativa means that it is quite a good strain to have during the day as it doesn’t leave one too ‘relaxed’. The high is experienced after the first couple of drags and continues for some time. All in all it is a very pleasant smoke.
